Yvonne Janet Musselman

Yvonne Janet Musselman, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at The Brook in Boyne City, MI. She was born on April 9, 1939, in Jacob, IL, to Ernest and Elsie (Miesner) Walther. She lived in West Branch, MI since 1966, formerly of Lincoln Park, MI.

Yvonne dedicated approximately 25 years of her career as a secretary at Surline Middle School in West Branch. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing at the West Branch Country Club on the Wednesday morning golf league. Yvonne found joy in camping, bicycling, traveling, boating, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Yvonne was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch. She volunteered with the Ladies Aid Society and Altar Guild, demonstrating her commitment to her faith and community.

Yvonne was the loving mother of Terri (Jon) Teuscher of Petoskey, MI, Scott (Wendi) Musselman of Gladwin, MI, and Tina Gutowski of West Branch. She was also a cherished grandmother to Tessa, Trista, Tiffany, Brittany, Taylor, Alexander, Samantha, Branden, and Alexis, and a beloved great-grandmother to Ryan, Ethan, Samuel, Gabriella, Lexie, and Madeline.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Musselman Jr. and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Carl Petzold will officiate the service, and burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John Ladies Aid in memory of Yvonne.
