Wyoma L. "Peg" Crawford, age 96, of West Branch passed away at Brian's House Hospice Center in Davison on Sunday November 14, 2004. She was born in Flushing on November 13, 1908 to Arthur and Maude Lamb and was raised in Gladwin. She married Earl H. Crawford in Flint on January 12, 1927, where they resided until moving to West Branch in 1979. Earl preceded her in death in 1994 after 67 years of marriage. Peg was a faithful Christian, a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Branch, the Eastern Stars and many charitable organizations. She loved to sew, bake and visit with family and friends. She is survived by her son Edward (Sue) Crawford of West Branch, grandchildren--Tom (Denise) Crawford of Clio, Terrilynn (Paul) Hiben of Montrose, Sam Crawford of Mt. Morris, Kristine Crawford of West Branch, Corinne Crawford of San Luis Obispo, CA, and great-grandchildren--Brian (Korie) Crawford of Cedar Springs, Blake Hiben and fiance Nikki Moyer of Montrose, Adam Smith and Abby Smith of Clio, her sister Eleanor Rutledge of Tennessee and brother Ernest Lamb of California and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Fred in January 2004, her sisters, Pearl, Edna and Matie and brothers Clifton, David, Arthur and Theodore. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday November 17, 2004 from 3-8 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in West Branch. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to the Christian Hope Ministries.
