Wilma R. Young , age 79, passed away at her home in Rose City surrounded by her loving family. Wilma was born on July 27, 1935 to Kenneth and Caroline (Furbish) Miller in Flint, Michigan. Wilma was an avid quilter, she would make quilts to give to organizations for single mothers. She made friends all over the world through her quilting. In her younger years she enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, going to the beach, and water skiing. She also enjoyed gardening; she was especially good at taking care of her African Violets. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Wilma is survived in death by her husband Bud Young of Rose City, and son Rick (Teri) Young of West Branch, and Rose City. She is preceded in death by her great granddaughter Tasha Lynn Griffus.
