William Lee Harvey

William “Bill” Lee Harvey, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home in West Branch, MI Sunday, May 8, 2022. He was born on January 4, 1937 in Pontiac, MI to Robert and Eva (Bailey) Harvey.

On June 11, 1956 he married Sharon Yvonne Smith in Pontiac. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 – 1959 and serving in the United States Army from 1959 – 1962. He was honorably discharged from both branches of service.
Bill lived in Pontiac most of his life and worked at General Motors. In 1971 he and his family moved to West Branch.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Debby (Brad) Kartes, Teresa (Jerry) Wangler both of West Branch, and Kim (Paul Worden) Trevithick of Creswell, OR; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother in law and sister in law, Jim (Dee) Smith of Davison, MI.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon in March 2021, parents, in-laws, brother Earl and son in law, Dan Trevithick.
Out of respect per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no end-of-life service will be held.

The family would like to thank the Heartland Hospice family for all of their wonderful care for Bill during his time of need, especially his “favorite nurse, Amber”.
