William Edward Knight, age 80, passed peacefully with his loving wife of 37 years by his side on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in St. Helen, MI. He was born on September 28, 1944, in Dearborn, MI to William and Ona (Rose) Knight. He lived in St. Helen for the past 37 years.
For over 30 years, William dedicated himself to his career as an accountant at Taylor Door, where his meticulous nature and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond the confines of his work, he found joy and fulfillment in the company of his family and friends, who were the cornerstones of his life.
William had a particular fondness for boating on Lake St. Helen, where he spent countless hours enjoying the sun and water. He immersed himself in the joys of watching his grandchildren play sports, taking pride in their achievements and unwaveringly supporting them. His enthusiasm for life extended to his hobbies, particularly bowling, which he passionately pursued from the tender age of ten. A true enthusiast of the sport, William achieved the remarkable milestone of receiving three 800 series rings, a testament to his skill and dedication.
