William J. Vansickle

William J. VanSickle, age 79 of Alger, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 14, 2007. He had lived in Alger since 2006, formerly of Missouri. Mr. VanSickle is survived by his children; Wilma (Harry) Diffin, Judy (Charles) Good and Joe VanSickle all of Alger, James (Libby) VanSickle of Pontiac, Robert VanSickle of South Lyon, Mary (Darwin) Yorton of Prescott, John VanSickle of St. Petersburg, FL, Peter VanSickle of Serra Vista, AZ and Wendy (Poncho) DeLaCruz of Elfreda AZ, stepdaughters, Rosa (Stephen) Ryan of Brewster, MA and Sara (George) Birkead of Serra Vista, AZ, 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, his sisters; Sylvia, Norma and Dorothy and brothers; Robert and Mickey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lottie Horton, father; Robert VanSickle, brother; Poly, sister; Gloria and daughter-in-law, Tammi VanSickle. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Welcome Home for the Blind.
