William J. Steffes

William J. Steffes, age 61, passed away May 8, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mr. Steffes was a resident of AuGres since 2000, formerly of Farmington Hills. He enjoyed fishing and boating as well as playing the guitar and piano. Family members surviving Mr. Steffes are his wife Patricia, sons William R. Steffes of Fort Collins, Colorado, John (Julie) Steffes of Commerce Township; daughters Laura (Curt) Harper of Dearborn and Susan (Robert) Brunsden of Chesterfield Township. Also surviving are grandchildren Nicholas, Brandon, Elizabeth, Ian, Alexis, Linda and Ariana. A sister Barbara (Douglas) Smith of Swanton, Ohio and brother John (Patricia) Steffes of Merritt Island, Florida also survive. Preceding Mr. Steffes in death was his son Michael James Steffes, sister MaryAnn Madigan and brother David Steffes. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Tuesday May 10, 2005 from 1-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Rev. J. Daniel Stoneback officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
