William J. Desmone

William J. Desmone, age 80 of Lupton, passed away December 25, 2004 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Tawas. Mr. Desmone was born June 9, 1924 in Detroit, the son of the late Samuel and Beatrice (Pagel) Desmone. He was a retired Fire Marshall for the Centerline Fire Department in Centerline. Bill had resided in Lupton for the past 16 years. He enjoyed feeding the birds, fishing and outdoor activities. Mr. Desmone is survived by his wife Wanda (Williams) Desmone of Lupton, sons, Richard Desmone of Hale, Tom (Laura) Desmone of Clinton Township, Larry Desmone of Ohio, Joe (Marie) Desmone of Attica and Jim Pinkstaff of Hale, daughters--Kathy (Bill) Sarrach of Memphis, Kim (Richard) Morrison of Kingsley, Penny (Philip) LeClair of Jamestown, KY, 12 grandchildren and 2 1/2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Norm (Lill) Desimone of Posen, Eugene Desimone of Kentucky and sisters, Fran Meyers of Harrison, Jean Tieman of Clawson and Judy (Joe) Clark of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Desimone of Hale and his sister Joanne Townsley of Florida. Cremation has taken place per Mr. and Mrs. Desmones wishes. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday December 30, 2004 at the Klacking Township Hall, Campbell Road, West Branch. Rev. John Rice will officate and a luncheon will be served immediately following the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
