William G. Shook

William G. Shook, age 100, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2005 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Mr. Shook resided in St. Helen since 1968. Surviving family members include daughters Jean (Joe) Tyson of St. Helen, Mary (Jim) Kump of Warren and sons Don (Gerri) Shook of Gold Canyon, Az., Bob (Anne) Shook of Williams, Az., Fred (Jan) Shook of Rock Creek, Ohio and Rick (Cathy) Shook of Bloomfield Hills. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Shook was preceeded in death by his wife Cora, sister Betty Smearman, brother Norman and grandsons William and Robert. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday March 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Helen funeral home. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery.
