William B. Koelsch

William B. Koelsch, age 83, of West Branch, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2005. He was a farmer and woodsman all his life. He had lived in West Branch since 1972, formerly of Standish. He was a member for 27 years and past president of the Wildwood Whirlers, a member of the Michigan Sugar Beet Growers and Farm Bureau member. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, camping, gardening and his grandchildren. Mr. Koelsch is survived by his wife, Dorothy of West Branch, his sons, Dr. William (Pamela) Koelsch DVM of Bay City, and Danny (Linda) Koelsch of Standish, grandchildren, Sheri, Debbie, Danny Jr., Maria and Raquel, great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Aleya, Kira and Deanna and his sister, Dorothy Daniels of Whittemore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Delia Koelsch and a brother, Vernon Koelsch. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, July 29, 2005 from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Pastor David Ferranti will officate with burial following at Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, MI.
