Wayne Kenneth Zimmerman

Wayne K. Zimmerman, age 81 of West Branch, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw. Wayne was raised on the family farm on Zimmerman Road, now known as Mud Lake Road in West Branch. He took over the family business from his father-in-law and created Zimmerman Excavating in 1972, which is now on its 4th generation.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine, 3 children, Wayne Zimmerman, Julie (Greg) Tisdale, and Barry Zimmerman all of West Branch, 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, and Evan Zimmerman, and Ashley Yantz. He is preceded in death by grandson, Jared Yantz.

Cremation has taken place per his wishes with no services scheduled.
