Wayne A. Zimmer

Wayne A. Zimmer, 22, of Lupton, died June 5, 2006 . He was born in West Branch to David and Valerie (Allor) Zimmer. Wayne worked many different jobs, and was soon to start employment at the Ogemaw County Road Commission. Wayne loved playing basketball and weight lifting with friends. He enjoyed being with his buddies. Wayne worked hard and played hard. He always thought of others and would do anything for friends and family. He was always making everyone laugh. Wayne is survived by his parents, Dave and Valerie Zimmer of Lupton; brothers David (Sadie) Zimmer of Lupton, Keith Zimmer of Howell; one sister, Amy (Tom) Masters of Howell; nephews Tommy and Cash Masters of Howell and Aiden Zimmer of Lupton; grandmother Luna Allor of Farmington Hills; aunt Chryl Grubaugh of Whittemore; uncles Pete (Jody) Zimmer of Lupton, Billy Allor of Farmington Hills, John Allor of Waterford, and aunt Brenda (Lawrence) Scott of Rose City. Wayne also left special friends Mike Anthony, Shaun Smock, and Adam Galea all of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Pa Bill and Nanny Agnes. Visitation will be at the Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 from 1-9pm. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11am at Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Pastor Chad Deerman will officiate. Cremation will take place so he may go “Home.” Memorial Contributions may be made to the Zimmer Family. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all those who have kept them in their thoughts and prayers, brought food, or just kind words. Wayne will forever be in our hearts and will be sadly missed.
