Wanita Eileen Sauve, age 80, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, at The Villa at West Branch. She was born on February 12, 1939 in Flint, MI to Ernest and Lillian (Yoder) Schram. Wanita had lived in Ogemaw County for over 47 years, formerly of Bay City. She married Charles Sauve in Bay City on January 7, 1956. She loved her family, horses and crocheting.
Wanita is survived by her loving husband, Charles Sauve of West Branch; children, Debbie (Charles) Kraxner of West Branch, Sherry (Glenn) Kempel of West Branch, Todd Sauve of Gaylord and Scott (Carla) Sauve of FL; grandchildren, Christie (Scott) Courture, Joshua Kraxner, Emily Kraxner, Evan (Kristi) Kraxner, Sarah (Daren)Walters, Jodi (Kevin)Taylor, Samantha (Benjamin) Denstedt-Binnion and Savannah (Robert) Dillon; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons, Jamie and Jerry Sauve; and grandson, Tim Sauve.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Edwards Township Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
