Walter A. Karwowski

Walter A. Karwowski age 69 of West Branch, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor. Walter had lived in West Branch since 1970, formerly of Hamtramck. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Lupton and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Lake Champlain. Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and coaching Little League baseball. Walter is survived by his wife Rotha Karwowski of West Branch, his son, Chad (Tracy) Dinsmore of Lupton, grandchildren, Zachery, Sheridan and Austin, his God daughter Callie Peter and nieces and nephews Vanessa, Shawn and Adrian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Regina Karwowski, his sister Rosalie Dinsmore and his niece Renetta. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Heaton will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw.
