Virginia Mae Mcquiston

Virginia Mae McQuiston, age 81, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home in West Branch, MI. She was born on March 22, 1937 in Rose City, MI to Lawrence and Elva (Westrick) Schneider. She had lived in the West Branch and Rose City area her whole life. Virginia was a singer and yodeler and enjoyed gardening, quilting and painting.

Virginia is survived by her children, Joan Switzer, Duane McQuiston, Gary McQuiston, Ron (Kim) McQuiston, Ken McQuiston, Stephen (Deb) McQuiston, and Cheryl (Scott) Adams; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brother, Leo Schneider; sisters, Carolyn (Dale) Thompson, and Ruth Ann (Bernie) Fisher; sisters in law, Bev Schneider, LaRue Johnson and Marty Schneider ; and brother in law, Robert Kartes. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Samuel; brothers, Larry Schneider, Elmer (Norma) Schneider, Ervin Schneider, Melvin Schneider; sisters, Doris (Bob) Rau and Margaret Kartes; and daughter in law, Susan McQuiston.

The funeral service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
