Virginia J. (Winter) Cunnington

Virginia J. (Winter) Cunnington, age 87 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. She enjoyed singing and dancing, the outdoors and nature, kids and animals. Virginia is survived by her sister, Barbara (Carl Sr.) Borg of West Bloomfield, her brothers, Ervin Winter of Waterford, William (Rita) Winter of Montrose and Florida, Leon (Joyce) Winter of West Branch and Joseph (Delores) Winter of West Branch and Zilwaukee and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Norma Winter, brothers, Calvin, Stanley and Dennis Winter and her sisters, Ruth Perry, Florentina Gillies, Marie Winter, Iola Winter, Wanda Winter, Ladonna Connolly and Marion Mettie. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 from 5-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. On Wednesday, January 18, 2006, visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch until the time of the Mass at 12:00 P.M. Fr. Miro D. Wiese will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery.
