Victoria L. Watz

Victoria L. Watz, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, MI. She was born on May 8, 1945 in Munising, MI to Leo and Juanita (Lamont) Passinault. Victoria had lived in Ogemaw County since 1990, formerly of Millington. She married Lawrence D. Watz in Saginaw on December 12, 1964. Victoria worked at Hospice of Helping Hands in West Branch and volunteered for Mid Michigan Hospice and Heartland Hospice. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Stanley and cat, Phoebe.

Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Lawrence D. Watz of West Branch; sons, David L. (Lisa) Watz of Swanton, OH and Christopher F. (Rebecca) Watz of Bay City, MI; daughter, Kerrie L. (Mark) Girard of Mesa, AZ; mother, Juanita L. Passinault of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Hailey, David, Brooke, Jacob and Allyson; sisters, Marie (Dale) Faunce of Gainesville, GA and Beth (Terry) Taube of Perrysburg, OH; and brother, Terry (Marcia) Passinault of Pinconning, MI. She is preceded in death by her father, Leo F. Passinault.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Hospice of Helping Hands.
