Velma Pearl Sharow

Velma Pearl Sharow, age 82, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Rose City, MI. She had lived in West Branch, MI for most of her life. Velma was born to John and Emily (Perkins) Ryland in Hale, MI on October 15, 1933. She enjoyed swimming, boating, and fishing.

Velma is survived by her children, Terry Mowrey of St. Helen, MI, Danny (Jan) Sharow of West Branch, MI, Trudy (William) Dobler of Standish, MI, Walter Sharow of Rose City, MI, and Darrell (Sheri) Sharow of West Branch, MI; 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and brother, Douglas Ryland of Whittemore, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Emily Ryland; husband, Michael Sharow; brothers, George Ryland, James Ryland, Fred Ryland, and John Ryland; and sister, Emily Kensey.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. Pastor Tim LaVere will officiate.
