Velaura Killackey

Velaura Killackey, age 80, of Leesburg, Fl, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Hospice of Lake Sumter in Clermont, Fl. She was a resident of Leesburg, Fl since 1999, formerly of Rose City. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Rose City Lioness Club. She loved to travel, being active in the community and her job at Rose City Drug Store. Velaura is survived by her son, Douglas Carmichael of Leesburg, Fl, brother, Lyle Markle of Munith, MI, niece, Beverly Look of Fl, nephew, Brent Fisher of Fl, and nephew, Delton Markle of N.C. She was preceded in death by husband, Frank Killackey in 1999. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 2-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.
