Trina M. Gehl

Mrs. Gehl passed away at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She had lived in West Branch for all of her life. She retired from Tolfree Memorial Hospital in 1996 after 18 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gehl is survived by her husband, Thomas Gehl of West Branch, daughters, Sue (Rich) Heavlin, Melissa (Dan) Weiler and Nancy Gehl and fiance' Arrin Swiatowy all of West Branch, 11 grandchildren, stepsons, David Gehl of Bay City, Bill Gehl of Holster, CA., Bob (Linda) Gehl of Manchester Conn. and Matt Gehl of Denver, CO. Also surviving are her sisters, Ann Barton of West Branch and Emma Jo Clark of Oldsmar, FL. and her brothers, Charles Stephens and Stanley Stephens both of West Branch and Stuart Stephens of Yucca Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jacob Heavlin in 1994, her mother Doris Holly in 1995 and her brother Steve Stephens in 1997. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday May 7, 2003 from 7-9 P.M. and on Thursday from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday May 9, 2003 at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Miller will officate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery.
