Tommy Stewart Thompson

Tommy Stewart Thompson, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital – Macomb in Mt. Clemens, MI. He was born on February 1, 1956, in Cincinnati, OH, to James and Betty (Watters) Thompson. Tommy has lived in Sterling, MI since 1996, formerly of Mt. Clemens.

On May 24, 1986, he married Linda Berwick in Jellico, TN.

Tommy served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and retired in 1991. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post #0225. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, hunting, and going to the U.P.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Thompson, his daughter Tammie Marie Thompson, two grandchildren, and his sisters Patricia Honberger and Geraldine (Mike) Bright.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation will start at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Matthew Dent will officiate. Burial will follow at Alger Cemetery with military honors.
