Timothy "Slim" D. Turland

Timothy D. “Slim” Turland, age 33 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. Tim had lived in West Branch for all of his life. He was a member of the Moffatt Township Fire Dept, where he was known as “Rookie”. Tim enjoyed playing darts, mechanics, electronics, hunting, fishing, checking traps and motorcycles. Tim is survived by his children, Devin Eric Turland and Jayden Rose Turland both of West Branch, his parents, Daniel and Deborah Turland of Dickinson, ND, his sisters, Carrie “Cat” (John Lewis) Turland of Sterling and Nicole “Nicki” (Bill) Heidt of Dickinson, ND, his grandma Mildred Turland and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Harry Turland, grandparents, Richard and Jean Stillwagon, his uncle Bernie Stillwagon and his cousin Paul Turland. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Jon Scott will officiate.
