Timothy R. Rau

Tim passed away Tuesday December 2, 2003 in West Branch. He had moved back to West Branch within the past 6 months, formerly of Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1984. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Ferris State University and he served in the United States Army for 6 years. Tim is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Rau and stepdaughter Megan Holcomb both of Pueblo, CO., his mother Shirley Rau of West Branch, sisters--Julie Rau of Ithaca and Jeri (Sam) Orlando of West Branch, nieces--Shannon Orlando and Emily Rau and his nephew Sam Orlando. Also surviving are his good friends, Greg and Kim Peterson of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Rau. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held from 2-9 P.M. on Thursday December 4, 2003. There will be a Scripture Service at 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday December 5, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, the St. Joseph Building Fund or the Melanoma Research Foundation.
