Timothy Harris Reetz

Timothy Harris Reetz, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at his home in Lupton, MI. He was born on June 27, 1944 in Lupton to Allan and Evelyn (Nickerson) Reetz.

Timothy lived in Lupton since 2005 formerly of Beverly Hills, MI. He retired from the Bloomfield Twp. Police Department and served as the Rose City Police Chief for several years. He enjoyed building model airplanes and boats, and hunting and boating.

Timothy is survived by his children, Rob (Tina) Reetz, Chad (Linda) Reetz, Jeff Reetz, and Kristin Reetz; grandchildren, Josh, Raney Jane, Zachary, Kyle, Ashley, Jake, Nolan, Avery, Kaelee, Amber, Alanah, and Zachary; great grandchildren, Max, Ainsley, Lulu, Adeline, Siena, Paxton, Braelyn, and Clara; brothers, John Reetz and Norman Reetz; daughter-in-law, Jodi Reetz; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, children, Jason and Jeremy, and sister, Nancy Riskovitch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time in the summer.
