Timothy Bruce Simmons

Timothy Bruce Simmons, age 73, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at The Brook in West Branch, MI. He was born on September 19, 1950, in Detroit, MI, to James Henry and Isabel (McKee) Simmons Sr. He lived in Gladwin, MI for the past 18 years, formerly of Trenton, MI.

Tim served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1974. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed bow hunting and spending time with his family.

Tim is survived by his niece, Rebecca (Dave) DeVore, nephew, Scott Simmons, and cousins, Linda, Sharon, John, Pam, Russ, Tom, Karen, Larry, Kathy, and Carol.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Henry Simmons Jr.

Burial for Tim will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
