Terry A. Zettel

Terry Anthony Zettel, age 46, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at his home in West Branch, MI, after his fight with cancer. He was born to Thomas “Jake” and Connie (Schliter) Zettel in West Branch on October 21, 1968. Terry married the love of his life and his high school sweetheart, Carrie Thorson on August 25, 1990 in West Branch. He attended Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Mac’s Place. He loved and appreciated all of his customers and friends and enjoyed the camaraderie people shared. Terry coached West Branch Little League for many years and was considered a mentor and motivator by many. He was very proud of his hometown. Terry also enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling to Penn State to watch football games, and spending time with his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carrie Zettel of West Branch; children, Kyle Zettel of Minneapolis, MN, Jenna (Greg) Peterson of Kalamazoo, MI, Anthony Zettel of State College, PA, and Easton Zettel of West Branch; brothers, Tom (Amy) Zettel of Sunbury, NC and Todd (Karen) Zettel of West Branch; sister, Janey Singer of Atlanta, GA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kimberley.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Ogemaw Heights High School Football Field on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Pastor David Kurtz will officiate.
