Tanya Ann Green, age 79, passed away at her home in Lupton, MI on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She had lived in Lupton for the past 20 years, formerly of Port Huron, MI. Tanya was born on April 19, 1937 to Robert and Anna (Kaiser) Green in Port Huron. She was a member of the Eagles in Hale, MI, Moose Lodge in Skidway, MI, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Port Huron. She was the president of the East Twin Lake Association and Coveview Homeowners Association. Tanya was in the Hall of Fame with women’s fast pitch softball class “A”. She enjoyed playing softball, the outdoors, woodworking, and gardening. She was in pool leagues and active in local politics.
Tanya is survived by her partner of 51 years, Claudette Pullen of Lupton, MI; son, Brian Pullen of Bedford, TX; daughter, Barbara (Richard) Miller of Lupton, MI; adopted daughter, Karyn (Michael) Dambach of Beavercreek, OR; grandchildren, Nicholas (Veronica) Riddell, Sabrina (Charles) Lozier, Shea Pullen , Baylee Pullen, and Matthew Miller; great grandchildren, Eric, Ella, William, and Evan; sister, Patricia Holstein of FL; brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Green of FL and Ronald (Carol) Green of Port Huron, MI; brother in law, David Ceasor; and many nieces, nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert, Richard, Edward; and sister, Nancy Ceasor.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
