Steven R. "Chip" Verran

Steven Ross “Chip” Verran, age 48 of West Branch, passed away Saturday December 31, 2011 at his home. Chip had lived in West Branch for the past 10 years, formerly of Brownstown. He enjoyed the West Branch Poker Room, bow hunting, fishing and was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. Chip is survived by his children, Trevor Verran and Chad Verran both of Monroe, his mother Connie (John) Middleton of West Branch, brothers, Robert (Ronda) Verran, John Middleton II, Daniel (Debbie) Middleton and Thomas Middleton of Rose City, his sisters, Jean (Tim) Greer, Tricia Knowles and Mona (Chet) Wolosonowich all of West Branch, his lifetime brother and friend Charles Stephens of West Branch and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James Verran and a brother Michael. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Alan Withers will officiate.
