Stephen W. Renfer

Stephen W. Renfer passed away on July 5, 2008 at the West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch Michigan at the age of 55. Stephen was born October 20, 1952 in Danville, IL and has lived in Houghton Lake since April of 2008 and previously in Ft. Wayne, IN, Phoenix, Az, Danville, IL, and Saginaw, MI. Stephen graduated from Michigan State University and worked in Human Resources for several businesses in many different states. He enjoyed traveling, reading, sailing, remodeling, and outdoor activities. After retirement Stephen drove semi truck, and enjoyed traveling the country. Stephen is survived by his son Mason Renfer of Phoenix Arizona, parents Paul and Patricia Renfer of Gold Canyon, Az. , brother Ronald (Katherine) Renfer of Bay City and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. A cremation has taken place per Stephen’s wishes. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
