Stephanie Lee Rice

Stephanie Lee Rice, age 26, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI with her family by her side after a long courageous fight against Lupus. She was born on April 1, 1991 in West Branch, MI to Edward and Christine Rice. Stephanie graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 2009 and was on the swim team. She helped with Angelfish and managed the OHHS boys and girls swim teams. Stephanie loved minions and enjoyed the Detroit Tigers, U of M Basketball, and camping with family and her bonus grandmas.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Ed and Christine Rice; sister, Kim (Ike) Clelland; brother, Kyle Rice; nephew, Zachary; grandparents, Ron and Beth Quick and Keith and Pat Yost; aunts, Jennifer (Duane) Grezeszak and Rhonda (Ryan Veeder) Riedel; cousins, Reese, Haven, Cassidy, Paige and Grace; a special swim buddy, Tate Juarez; and many more family and friends.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bill Simpson and Louise Hofer will officiate the service.
