Stanley F. McFadden, age 87, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his home. He lived in Lupton since 1984, formerly of Dearborn Heights. He married the former Doris Daly on January 28, 1944 at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. He was a tool & die maker employed by Ferro Manufacturing of Detroit. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was active in the Senior Center in Rose City. He also enjoyed crafting. Surviving family members include his wife Doris of Lupton, children; Douglas J. (Eileen) McFadden of Belding, Kenneth P. (Denise) McFadden of Rose City and Marilyn Ann (Mark) Wolffradt of Dearborn; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Clara Tamer of Columbia, South America, Michael (Sue) Daly and Diane (William) Sherwood both of Flint, Patrick Daly of Red Lion, PA, Maureen Schaefer of Orlando, FL and Mary Ellen Sincock of Swartz Creek; 11 step grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Jeanette (Navarre) McFadden, his sons, Bruce and Thomas, his stepson, Edward Daly and his sisters, Frances Blow and Helena Williams and brother, David McFadden. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Miro D. Wiese OFM officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
