Stacey F. Poling Sr, age 74, passed away at his daughters home in West Branch after a brief illness. He had lived in Port Charlotte FL since 1997, formerly of West Branch. He retired from Consumers Power Company in 1987 after 22 years of service and was an active member of the Consumers Power Retirees. He was also an active member of the Elks Club and the American Legion Post #0400 both of Port Charlotte, a member of the USS Salem Association, and a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Stacey is survived by his wife, Joan Poling of Port Charlotte, children--Stacey Poling Jr. and Mary Jo (Dave) Marciniak both of West Branch, Tim Poling of Jackson, Richard (Michelle) Poling of Parma and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister, Mary Ida Jackson and brothers, Thomas (Carolee) Poling and Paul Poling all of West Branch. He was preceded in death by an infant son Mark, his parents, Stacey and Leana (Pickens) Poling, his father and mother in law, Margaret and Paul Zettel, sisters in law, Eileen Zettel and Barbara Poling and brothers in law, John Tobin and Ted Jackson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Friday June 10, 2005 from 12-8 P.M. with a Wake Service being held at 7:00 P.M. and a Veterans Service at 7:30 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 11, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Bissot will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
