Shirley M. Goniwicha

Shirley M. Goniwicha, age 81 of West Branch, passed away July 16, 2008 at her home. She had lived in Ogemaw County for the past 20 years, formerly of the Flint area. Shirley enjoyed reading, crocheting, bingo and spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her children, Clifford (Susan) Kennedy of Clio, Glen (Debbie) Kennedy and Susan (Edward) Morrish both of West Branch, Bonnie Sandback of Marquette, Sally (Frank) Goniwicha of Traverse City and Walter (Christine) Goniwicha of Portland, OR, 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1997, her parents, WIllian and Agnes (VanBrunt) Paulson and her brothers, William and James Paulson. Visitatation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Mary Shortt will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, West Branch.
