Sharon Yvonne Harvey

Sharon Yvonne Harvey, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan. She was born on January 13,1941 to George and Margaret (Metzler) Smith in Pontiac, Michigan where she was then raised and later met and married William Harvey on June 11, 1956. Sharon lived in both Pontiac and West Branch throughout her lifetime.

First and Foremost, Sharon loved her family, including her 4 daughters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A loved tradition of Sharon’s was keeping photo books of her grandchildren and passing them along to their spouses once they were married. She also had a passion for tidiness and prided herself in a very well kept yard. Sharon treasured her time that she spent with her brother, Jim and sister-in-law Dee. Later in life, Sharon picked up the hobby of coloring. She would spend many hours a day creating beautiful coloring pages.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William “Bill” Harvey of West Branch and four daughters, Cindy (Mark) Lehman of West Branch, Debby (Brad) Kartes of West Branch, Teresa (Jerry) Wangler of West Branch, and Kimberly Trevithick (Paul Worden) of Sheridan, Wyoming ; grandchildren Carla (Brant), Kayla (Ryan), Marky (Whitney), Keith (Heather), Cole (Lauren), Jenny (Jon), Corey (Kassie), Jordan, and Madison and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Jim (Dee) Smith of Davison, Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Robert and Eva Harvey, and sons- in- law, Carl Reminder and Dan Trevithick.

She will be greatly missed by many and the memories with her will be held closely forever.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
