Sharon L. Karnafel

Sharon Lee Karnafel passed away Friday, May 8, 2010 at her home in West Branch, Michigan. Sharon was born January 21, 1945 in Ortonville, Mi to Arthur and Ferne Baker. Sharon has lived in West Branch since 1983 previously of Ortonville, MI. Sharon worked a K-Mart in West Branch for over 15 years and at the Wal-Mart over 5 years. She enjoyed traveling, photography, ceramics, camping, special occasions, and spending time with friends. Most of all she loved her late husband Jerry and spent as much time with him as she could. Sharon is survived by her children Steven Foster of Pinconning, Melvin Foster of Ortonville, Jennifer (Richard) Swanson of Waterford, and Bradley (Debbie) Karnafel of Las Vegas. Also surviving are many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special friend Cliff Hall of West Branch. Sister Ethel Crichton of West Branch, brother Doug (Karen) Baker of Meredith, and sister-in-law Ethel Baker. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, mother Ferne Baker, son Bradley Foster, and brother Ted Baker. Visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 11-1PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral will follow the visitation on Wednesday at 1:00PM at the Funeral Home. Elder Richard Hamilton will officiate.
