Sharlene Marie Tullis, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at her home in Alger. She was born on August 21, 1961 in Saginaw to Dale and Helen (Moore) Gardner. She lived in Alger since 2002, formerly of West Branch and Saginaw. Sharlene attended First United Methodist Church in West Branch. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, arts and crafts, fishing, collecting antiques and family genealogy. Sharlene loved her family and spending time with them.
Sharlene is survived by her husband, Ralph Tullis; children, Kelli (James) Tullis Clark, Kendra Tullis and Kyler Tullis; grandsons, Caden and Xander; mother, Helen Gardner; sisters, Diane (Gary) Rau, Sally (Ernie) Meyerholt and Vicky (Bill) Thompson; step-daughter, Susan (David) Napora; step-grandchildren, Shaun VanZalan Jr. and Aleah VanZalan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Gardner.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the graveside service at Brookside Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Tim Dibble will officiate.
Visitation for Sharlene will be held with precautions due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
