Shari Ann Burns

Shari Ann Burns, passed away at her home in West Branch, MI on April 29, 2021 at the age of 64. Shari was born on May 15, 1956 in Royal Oak, MI to Robert and Barbara (Cochran) Burns. She graduated from Dondero High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from Oakland College with a degree in business and accounting. Shari spent most of her working career as an office manager or a customer service representative for several companies including Michigan and Southwest Bell/ATT. In 1999, she moved to West Branch to own and operate Package Plus. She was also employed at Peckham Engineering and MidMichigan Medical Center.

Shari enjoyed reading, bible study, PBS television, politics and taking care of her pets, Josh and Miss Prissy. She attended area churches and enjoyed teaching a faith based program on divorce care.

Shari is survived by her close friends, Julie Madsen of West Branch and Vicky Diehl of Saint Helen. She also leaves behind cousins, Todd Dawes of Santa Barbara, CA, Denilynn Page of Destin, FL and Dorothy Dawes of Royal Oak, MI. She is preceded in death by her brother David, mother, father, and grandparents.
