Sandy Kay Delore

Sandy Kay Delore, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in West Branch, MI, at the age of 58. Born on August 13, 1966, in Atlanta, GA, Sandy lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, primarily in Blue Ridge, GA, before making her recent move to West Branch.

A talented quilter and an enthusiastic cook, Sandy had an incredible gift for creating not just beautiful works of art but also delicious meals that brought her family together.

Sandy was a cherished member of her family, bringing warmth and love to those around her. She is survived by her two daughters, Carroll Anne Delore and Barbara Arizona Delore, and her grandchildren, Jeremy, David, Danielle, and Markus, who were the light of her life. Sandy is also survived by her devoted siblings: Syble "Diane" Lumley (Rohrer), Carlie Lumley (Tiffany), and Heather Lumley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Myrtle (Parrish) Lumley, and her brother, Shaun Lumley. 

Sandy Kay Delore will be remembered not just for her many talents and passions, but for the warmth she brought into the lives of her family and friends. Her spirit will remain a guiding light, cherished and celebrated by those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye to a beautiful soul, we hold close the memories of her laughter, her love, and her unwavering spirit.
