Sandra (Sandy) Skowronek

Sandy L. Skowronek, age 55, of West Branch, passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in West Branch since 1975, formerly of Alpena. She was a member of the Skidway Lake American Legion Auxiliary and she owned and operated Sandy's Restaurant for 20 years. Sandy is survived by her parents, Erwin and Alice Skowronek of West Branch, brothers, Randy (Cindy) Skowronek and Mark (Dawn) Skowronek both of West Branch, her sister, Lynn (Joe) Roman of Anchorage, Alaska, nieces and nephews Joellyn, Melissa, Samantha, Tyler, Amanda, Andrew and Jacquelyne, great-nieces and nephews, Isabella, Lilly and Aiden and her special friend, Kathy Pokley of Roseville, She was preceded in death by her great-niece Chloe and her grandparents. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Tolfree Memorial Hospital Foundation.
