Sandra Kay Krock, age 79, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her home in East Lansing, MI. She was born on March 2, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to Frank and Gladys (Quackenbush) Stephens. She graduated in 1959 from Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis and was a member of the high school swim team and was also the first blind student to graduate in the school’s history. After high school, Sandy attended college at Indiana Central College where she graduated in 1963. She married Norman Krock on April 6, 1974 at the Indianapolis Baptist Temple. Sandy worked for Eli Lilly for 29 years as a medical transcriptionist. She lived in East Lansing since 2008, formerly of Indianapolis and West Branch, MI. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, horseback riding, road rally’s and working with special needs children. Sandy also volunteered her services with the Servants On Wheels Ever Ready.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Norman Krock; son, Darren Krock; daughter, Kathryn Krock; granddaughter, Brianna Chrysler; great grandsons, Winston and Jayce all of East Lansing; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
