Ruth L. Gould-Ludlow

August 28, 1924 — September 26, 2005

Ruth L. Gould-Ludlow, age 81 of West Branch, passed away at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Before moving to Bortz Health Care in 2003, she had been a resident of West Branch since 1998, formerly of Lupton and Grand Blanc. Ruth was a member of the Lupton Friends Church, a former Cub Scout Den Mother and softball coach, and she wrote and published two songs. Ruth is survived by her children, B. John (Betsy) Gould of Lupton, Steve (Pam) Gould of Oxford, Bill (Linda) Gould of Grand Blanc, stepchildren, Nancy (Steve) Galassini of Flushing and Janis (Gary) Field of Gaines, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Anna Mary Miracle of Oscoda and Ilah Ludlow of Lupton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Gould in 1986 and James Ludlow in 2003, her brother, Wayne Ranney and brother in law, Clyde Ludlow. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 4-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 3-9 P.M. On Thursday, September 29, 2005, visitation at the funeral home will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery, West Branch.
