Ruth Ellen Eckert

Ruth Ellen Eckert, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home in West Branch. She was born on June 4, 1957 in Saginaw, MI to Harland and Naomi (Harris) Crawford. Ruth lived in West Branch most of her life and married Randall Eckert in Mio on March 31, 1995. Ruth enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a NASCAR fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Randall Eckert of West Branch; children, Kathy Lang of Cheboygan, George (LeaJo) Lang of Harrison, Elizabeth Reupena of Boise, ID, Tonya (John) Zaneske of OH and Tina Eckert of Caro, MI; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, David (Kathy) Crawford, Brian (Tammy) Crawford, Otis Crawford, Charlene Montnry, Jerry Carey, Vicki Lambert, Mike Crawford, Russell Crawford, Danny Crawford and Julie Dumnsky. She is preceded in death by her parents and her 2 sons, Thomas Lang and Randall Eckert II.

Burial will take place at Hebron Township Cemetery in Cheboygan. There will be no service but a luncheon will be scheduled for a later date.
