Ruth Ann Mireau

Ruth Ann Mireau, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at her home in Roscommon, MI with her family by her side. She was born on June 21, 1958 in Pontiac, MI to Ira and Bessie (Dee) Harden Jr. On August 26, 2006 she married Thomas Mireau in Benzie, MI. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family. Some of her hobbies and interests were crocheting, coloring, watching old TV programs, archery, birds, and historical reenactments of the French and Indian War with the handmade period clothing.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Mireau of Roscommon; daughter, Jammie Karsten of Roscommon; son, Richard (Tina) Karsten of Roscommon; grandchildren, Amanda, Katherine, Aryka, and Taylor; great grandchildren, Elishia and Mary Alice; sisters, Bessie Gibson, Grace Badour, Dianne Olsen, Tammy Tingley, Brentta Letts, Karsten Pinsley, Starr McPherson; and brother, David Harden. She is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Huffman.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor David Stevens will officiate.
