Russell Lee Duke

Russell L. Duke age 69 of St. Helen, passed away Wednesday September 7, 2011 at his home. Russell had lived in St. Helen since 1996, formerly of Garden City. He was a member of the American Legion of St. Helen, the Grayling Sportsmans Club, the NRA and the Amateur Trap Shooting Association. He enjoyed trap shooting, dirt track racing, bowling, antique cars and gumball machine collecting. Russell is survived by his wife Alice Duke of St. Helen, children Robert (Bonnie) Duke of Adrian and Nicole Duke of Garden City, his grandchildren Robyn, Bradley, Kaylea, Colt and Sabastian and his brother, Richard (Sally) Duke of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Ronald and his parents. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate.
