Rudolph R. Sheltrown

Rudolph R. Sheltrown, age 82 of Gladwin, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. Rudy was born December 19, 1933 to Clyde Sr. and Ollie Sheltrown in West Branch. Rudy lived in Gladwin for 25 years, previously of the West Branch area. Rudy was in the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Rudy is survived by his children, Ronald Sheltrown of Waterford, Mike (Kim) Sheltrown of IN, Sue Johnson of Waterford, Sheri (Karl) Hutson of New Market, IA, Martha (Pat) Lumsden of Bay City, David (Melonie) Sheltrown of Saulsbury, TN, 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchlidren. Also surviving is sister, Lillian Wade of Bradenton, FL, brother, Clyde Sheltrown Jr. of West Branch, and sister, Leona (Albert) Hayes of Wiggins Lake.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Friday, July 8, 2016 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Edwards Township Cemetery with military honors. High Priest Gil Burgeson will officiate.
