Roxann Cox

Roxann Cox, age 65, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, MI. She had lived in St. Helen, MI for the past 20 years, formerly of Saginaw. Roxann was born to Peter and Jacqueline (Shadeing) Pogoreski in Saginaw on August 14, 1950. On December 19, 1970 she married Michael Cox in Saginaw. Roxann was an LPN for over 20 years. She enjoyed all types of art; painting, drawing, crocheting, embroidery, and loved to cook. Roxann was a Patriot and a devoted Christian. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Roxann is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Michael Cox of St. Helen; children, Chad (Jennifer) Cox of Prudenville, MI and Julie Wilson of St. Helen; grandchildren, Destani, Allison, Jacob, Austin, Benjerman, Kyleigh, Ethan, and Ty; great grandchildren, Brantley and Jhorie; Harrier Hound, Annie; mother, Jacqueline Pogoreski of Saginaw; and siblings, Randy Pogoreski and Renee Schomaker both of Saginaw. She is preceded in death by her father, Peter Pogoreski.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastors Art and Cindy Smith will officiate.
