Ronald M. Beck, age 64 passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Saginaw. Mr. Beck had lived in Ogemaw County since 1995, formerly of Grayling. He was a member of the American Legion Post #162 of Luzerne, the VFW Post in Lewiston and was a life member of the NRA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He owned and operated Ron’s Archery in Grayling and Lewiston and he loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, Suzanne Beck of West Branch, his children, Donald Beck of West Branch, Robert (Cindy) Cote of Kentucky and Shelly Cote of Colorado. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Callie, Donny, Robby, Mercedes, Jennifer and Devon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald M. Beck, a brother, Henry Hamden and his sisters, Ellen Martin, Henrietta Bondy, Patsy Gooden and June Meloche. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Robert King will officiate. Ron was loved by all who knew him. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
