Ronald Lee Freeman

Ronald Lee Freeman, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1997, formerly of Waterford, MI. Ron was born on September 7, 1941 in Bay City, MI to Roy and Esther (Porsche) Freeman. On July 18, 1963 he married Alma A. Anderson in Midland, TX. Ron was a Veteran serving in the Air Force. He was a member of the UAW #594 and Lake Ogemaw Resort Association. He enjoyed photography, hunting, and loved teasing and playing pranks on everyone.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Alma Freeman of West Branch, MI; daughter, Sheril (Stephen) Revell of Holland, MI; son, Richard (Heather) Freeman of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren, Jessica Connor, Jamie Connor, Victoria Revell, Veronica Revell, Brennica (Daniel) Woodcock, Richard “Lee” Freeman II, and Ryan Freeman; great grandchildren, Tana Esper, Skylar Woodcock, Issabella Woodcock, and Spencer Woodcock; sister, Gayle (Jim) Decker of Tawas, MI; and brother, Gerald (Kathy) Freeman of Spring Hill, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Lake Ogemaw Summer Resort Association, 2916 Rifle River Trail, West Branch at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI with Veteran Honors Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
