Ronald Howard Diehl, age 56, passed away suddenly doing what he loved. He passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Alger County, MI. He was born on September 10, 1964 in West Branch to Howard and Helen (Mogg) Diehl. Ron lived in Lupton his whole life on his family dairy farm.
No matter the obstacles, Ron never gave up or felt sorry for himself. This led to building the farm up and continuously improving it with the love of his life and family by his side. Ron’s second home was in the UP at his cabin in Seney, MI. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed building wooden fishing boats, spending time on the pontoon and his side by side with family and friends. He always lived for the moment and was the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by many.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lisa (Wiltse) Diehl of Lupton; children, Jorie (Cody) Reder of West Branch, Brandon Diehl of Lupton and Josie (Aaron Clare) Diehl of Alger; granddaughter, Avery Reder of West Branch. Also survived by siblings, Kathy (Ken) Moorhouse of Millington, Steve (Ginger) Diehl of Rose City, Norma (Steve) Pennington of West Branch, Scott (Billi Jo) Diehl of White Lake, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
