Ronal W. Scites

Ronal Willard Scites 86 of West Branch died suddenly on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on May 4, 1921 in Logan County, West Virginia. After retiring from the United States Postal Service and the Elton Black Funeral Home, Ronal moved to West Branch in 1993. Ronal served in the army in WWII and was a member of the West Branch Masonic Lodge, Zion Rose Chapter of the Eastern Star, West Branch, Elk Khurafeh Shriner and the D.A.V. His Survivors include two daughters: Gail (James) Wheeler of White Lake; Renee (Donald) Barrett of West Branch. Seven grandchildren: Michael (Kelli) Baird of Southfield, Dana (Matthew) Thibert of White Lake, Danielle (Dr. Donald) Brock of Milford, Jason (Arjean) Baird of Brighton, Amanda (Joe Zimmer) Barrett of West Branch, Carrie Barrett of Berkley and Sarah Barrett of Saginaw. There are 9 great-grandchildren: Matthew, Alexandra, Quinn, Hunter, Benjamin, Wyatt, Morgan, Marshall and Josie. There are two brothers; Lloyd (Sharon) Scites and Roy (Jane) Scites both of Warren and many nieces and nepheews. Also a very special friend, Betty Bruckner of West Branch. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, a son Ronald and brother and sisters, Norma,Portis, Ermal Solana, Thelma Miller and Donald Scites. There will be a Masonic Memorial Service followed by an Eastern Star Service on Monday at 7:00P.M. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, West Branch. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 1:30P.M. at the funeral home with thr Rev. Mary E. Lynch officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday at 11:00A.M. at Milford Cemetery, Milford, Michigan.
